Voltage Controlled Oscillator

A simple saw wave analog oscillator based on a 40106 Schmidt Trigger Inverter with a square wave and triangle wave output.

My voltage controlled oscillator is based on Mortiz Klein’s designs for a VCO combined with the saw wave to triangle wave converter that he uses as part of his wavefolder.

The core of the oscillator is based around a 40106 Schmidt Trigger Inverter. Linear to exponential conversion of the control voltage is performed by a BC548 transistor. The oscillator has an FM input which is attenuated by a potentiometer on the face plate to add some noise, and the width of the pulse output is also voltage controlled and adjustable with a potentiometer.

B If I were to build this again I might also add a sine wave output and a sync input.
